Oxo-biodegradable plastic is a material made by adding special oxo-biodegradable additives to conventional plastics (like PE, PP). These additives accelerate the oxidative breakdown of the plastic in the natural environment, causing the material to fragment when exposed to heat, UV light, or mechanical stress. It ultimately converts into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass, causing no long-term pollution.
